Then come and join Patrizia into the vineyards where she will show you the different varieties of vines that produce Fattoria Bacìo’s red wines: Sangiovese vine, the foundation of Chianti, the colorino grapes that are used to give a deeper colour to wines obtained from different quality of vines, and the most noble Syrah‘s vine with its thickskinned and almost black grapes, or the golden clusters of Chardonnay and the strow colour of Trebbiano clusters used on the production of Fattoria Bacìo white wines. During your beautiful walk, if you are lucky, you may find some fossils in the soil from the pliocene period!
Then, move on into our cellars where grapes become wine. Immediatly on entering there you will be plunged into a special atmosphere; the 1800s vaulted high ceilings and its stone walls give one the experience of the past!
A special lunch will be made giving you the opportunity to taste all our wines including those coming from our organic productiondiscovering the intricate secrets and hidden nuances of making great wines!
